About Us
The School
The language school "A-Z Deutsch Sprachkurse" was founded in 2009 and is located in a very central location in the beautiful Black Forest metropolis of Freiburg. We are 300m from the main train station and 300m from the historical Old Town.
Our institution is small and in its offer there are few courses, but the quality of our teaching is very high. You will learn German quickly and effectively in small groups of 3 to 8 students.
Here you will have many opportunities to speak and practice German. Thanks to their academic qualifications in German studies or German as a foreign language, our instructors provide you with a professional and modern teaching style.
The focus of our learning program is on oral and written communication, listening and reading comprehension, writing, as well as the teaching of German grammar. We are particularly interested in awakening the joy of learning the German language and promoting motivation. However, our instructors also have the competence and capacity to address your individual learning needs.

Magister Artium degree in Educational Sciences and
German as a Foreign Language Philology
Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg
I gained my qualification as a lecturer in German as a foreign language at the tradition-rich University of Heidelberg and have been passionate about this field since 2011. My previous employers include, among others, the University of Freiburg, the University of Ankara and the language school K5 Basel, in Switzerland.
My teaching is characterized by my ability to convey complex grammatical rules and linguistic contexts in an understandable way. Thanks to my qualification and practical experience, I can quickly deal with the different learning needs and learning stages of my students and design the lessons accordingly. It is especially important to me to train different skills and abilities in the language course in order to prepare my students for the linguistic reality in a versatile way.
I love languages, and thanks to my desire to teach a modern language class, it is especially important to me to include the native languages of my students in an exciting German lesson with great care and joy. Since I am aware that language teaching also means teaching culture and intercultural skills, I find it absolutely necessary to provide my students with many positive experiences outside of German classes. I would like to achieve this through a wide variety of extracurricular cultural activities.
